Israel's Consul General in New York, Ofir Akunis, in response to Mayor Mamdani's plan to fight anti-Semitism: "Money doesn't buy values. Until you stop the incitement and bloodshed against the Jewish state, the State of Israel you don't know, anti-Semitism in New York City will only continue to increase. A real fight against anti-Semitism requires you to re-adopt the IHRA definition of anti-Semitism, which you decided to cancel on your first day in office."
