Trump administration officials told the Wall Street Journal that there are no plans to sell weapons to China, despite the US ambassador to China saying that Trump offered Xi during their meeting to buy them. It was also reported that arms sales to China are already prohibited by law, and one of the officials emphasized that no plans were formulated and no proposals were transmitted to Beijing.
