MDA teams were called to a house in Netivot following a report of an eight-month-old baby who had suffocated from a sukkah decoration. MDA medic Uriel Cohen, who arrived at the scene, said: I arrived quickly at the scene of the incident and saw the baby with blue skin. I immediately recognized that it was suffocation and began performing life-saving measures until a piece of sukkah decoration came out of his mouth, and after a few seconds the skin of his face returned to its normal color, his condition stabilized and he did not need to be evacuated to the hospital."
