Progressive House of Representatives member Alexandria Ocasio-Ortez told the New York Times in an interview that she will decide after the midterm elections whether to run for president in 2028 or to run for the Senate seat currently held by senior senator Chuck Schumer, the Senate's Democratic minority leader.
