Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar spoke with the European Union Commissioner for Mediterranean Affairs, Dobrevka Shuitza, who informed that the two discussed Israel-EU relations, regional stability and reconstruction efforts in the Gaza Strip. Shuitza emphasized the urgent need to promote the early rehabilitation of the Strip and the restoration of essential infrastructure and services, and noted that the conversation also dealt with the promotion of a "functioning reformed Palestinian Authority".
