Did they ever consult news channels or telegram channels before deciding to harm civilians everywhere? The answer is no. They are already attacking civilians around the world and throughout the Middle East on a daily basis. They were never worried about pretexts or legitimacy. They simply act with impunity just like Israel. If they want to manufacture consensus, they can do it easily (in fact they do it all the time), but believe me, the Pentagon is not going to look at the MES position and suddenly decide to hit Iranian fishermen more than before. + This was reported on Reuters and elsewhere in the Iranian media (including on discussion panels).
