This attack by Ansarallah cannot be compared to what happened in Syria, because the PLC force did fight - for several weeks, in fact.

The mocha front was slightly different, it was a very coordinated surprise attack that caught the PLC off guard and forced them to retreat largely without fighting.

But Taizz is different. The heights of the Taizz region were well defended, entrenched, and they put up a lot of resistance.

This is to the credit of Ansarallah, who despite these difficult conditions managed to break through the ranks.
