He is accused of "spreading rumors without evidence" about the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bakr Kalibaf.

The incident took place a long time ago, when Rasi claimed that Kalibauf deliberately changed parliamentary records without authorization.

Gholamhossein Eje'i, the chief justice of Iran, is known to be a staunch ally of Kalibuf, and has good relations with the Pazeshkian administration.
