"To be very honest, there is no reason for us to engage in diplomacy at all.

In 2025 we were offered negotiations and we accepted. Then, in the middle of the negotiations, they attacked us.

About 8 months later, in February 2026, they offered to negotiate again, and again we accepted. As the negotiations continued, they attacked us.

Then, after the war, we engaged in diplomacy even more. We signed a memorandum of understanding, and they violated it within days. Therefore, there is no real reason for us to return to diplomacy.

But we are trying diplomacy again one last time, because we don't want to miss any chance to achieve peace.'
