The move comes in response to Trump barring CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House. The three vessels announced that they intend to sue the president.

The White House pool is a small group of five news outlets that typically follow the president wherever he goes and provide coverage of presidential events for other news outlets around the world. It currently consists of CNN, ABC, CBS, Fox News and NBC.

Later today at the UN General Assembly, CNN was supposed to provide the official coverage - but the entire White House press pool is boycotting the event.
