German protesters block entrance to Hamburg university building Dozens of protesters blocked the entrance and exit of a university building in Hamburg on Monday morning by placing construction barriers and trash cans in front of the entrances. According to the German Press Agency (DEPA), this action was carried out in front of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of the University of Hamburg. Also, the police approved the holding of three separate rallies in this city, which included demands related to educational issues. One of the protesting activists said that the blocking of the college building was done in protest of the allocation of additional funds to military industries instead of education. He emphasized that now one euro out of three is allocated to war industries.
