Request for an immediate criminal investigation against Netanyahu Avigdor Lieberman, head of the Israel Beitain party and former Israel's Minister of War, emphasized: Today I present my request regarding the opening of an immediate criminal investigation against Netanyahu on charges of treason. Lieberman noted that during the past month, Netanyahu pressured the senior commanders of the security agencies to take actions that could lead to a miscalculation and an escalation of the military conflict with Iran. He also accused Netanyahu that, on the eve of the parliamentary elections, he seeks to drag the regime into war due to the fear of electoral defeat.
