Germany is furious at the refusal of three EU countries to guarantee a loan to Ukraine. Politico Berlin criticizes the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary for refusing to guarantee a €45 billion loan to Kyiv, even though these countries continue to claim money from the EU's Cohesion Fund, of which Germany is the main contributor. "How can we expect our taxpayers to pay for someone who refuses to participate in dealing with a major security threat? Parasites have no unity." said the German diplomat. The European Union expects to agree on a loan by the end of the year to cover Ukraine's budgetary needs in 2027. Canada or Japan can provide an additional €25 billion.
