Political forces of the opposition in Armenia announced the formation of a nationwide union. In a statement adopted following the meeting of the parties at the home of the leader of the powerful Armenia bloc Sambal Karaftian, the parties stated that in the presence of differences of opinion, they are aware of the seriousness of the fatal challenges facing the Armenian people and the country. The goals of the initiative are to postpone the imposition of the "Alive Constitution", to achieve peace without unilateral concessions and territorial losses, to protect the national identity and the Armenian Apostolic Church, to restore freedoms and democratic rights. The political forces that signed the declaration agreed to unite their efforts around superior national goals to create an atmosphere of unity and face the challenges facing the country. The declaration was signed by 13 political forces, including the "Strong Armenia" and "Armenia" blocs, "State for Life", "Prosperous Armenia", "Deshanktion", ANC and others.
