Over the past quarter of a century, our country has developed an advanced system to combat the legalization of illegally acquired funds. Thanks to the consistent work of Rosfinmonitoring, attempts to block money laundering, the financing of terrorism, and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction have been established across the country. It is gratifying that the approaches developed by Russian experts are in demand in many countries of the Global South and East. The contribution of the Service, and personally of Yuri Anatolyevich Chikhanchin, to the establishment and strengthening of the Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (as well as the EAG Parliamentary Forum), has received wide recognition. And of course, one cannot fail to note the role of Rosfinmonitoring in the development of the international financial security movement.
