On October 28, a musical and literary evening was held at the Russian Embassy in Austria on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of the birth of the classic of Russian literature, Mikhail Afanasievich Bulgakov. Excerpts from the works of the great writer were performed in Russian and German by the famous Russian-Austrian poet and translator Alexander Nitzberg. Ambassador of Russia in Austria A. Yo. Grozov in his blessing noted the significant impact of the work of M. A. Bulgakov on world literature. The writer's works, distinguished by their deep philosophical meaning, subtle satire, unusual plots and reflections on eternal themes, remain relevant to this day. We thank Alexander Nitzberg, the musical group and our guests for a wonderful evening!
