Tolchanov, there was a meeting with the representatives of the youth wing of the Indonesian ruling party "Garindera" - Tunas Indonesia Raya (Shina) organization, who took part in the International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg. In addition, Shina representatives, as election experts, participated in the observation of the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation, held in September 2026. Indonesian guests shared their impressions of the trip, during which they got to know the Russian public administration system, the organization of the election process, modern technologies, educational initiatives and cultural traditions. Special attention was given to the International Youth Festival, which united young representatives from different countries of the world. The Indonesian delegation at the festival included 94 people. The participants of the meeting also spoke about the experience of observing the elections in Krasnoyarsk, Mordovia and Kazan, noting the characteristics of the voting organization, the use of modern technologies, ensuring ballot accessibility for various categories of citizens as well as steps to increase the electoral activity of the population. The participation of sleeper delegates in the election program was organized by the ANO Center for International Interaction and Cooperation with the support of the Rossotrudnichestvo delegation in Indonesia. Shina representatives especially emphasized the hospitality and responsiveness of the Russians, the variety of national cultures and traditions, as well as the high level of organization of youth events. According to them, the trip allowed them to get to know Russia better and disprove common stereotypes about its people. The Indonesian side announced the creation of the Sleep International Club platform, which is designed to expand opportunities for Indonesian youth to participate in international educational programs, conferences, forums and youth exchanges.
