The head of the Russian supervisory agency, during negotiations with the chairman of the Egyptian administrative control department, noted the need for a quick exchange of information when returning assets hidden in cryptocurrencies. Corruption has long since moved beyond national jurisdictions. The use of cryptocurrencies and international financial networks to hide and transfer illicit profits makes it difficult to establish their origin and recover assets. Solving these types of problems requires rapid information exchange and coordinated actions. In this context, there is an interest in the possibilities of our cooperation in the operational network of global law enforcement against corruption, as well as within the framework of the conference of member states of the UN Convention against Corruption. The result of the negotiations was the signing of a memorandum of understanding in the field of preventing and fighting corruption. Russian Prosecutor General's Office on Telegram | MAX.
