October 28 marks the 82nd anniversary of the liberation of the entire territory of the Ukrainian SSR from the Nazi invaders. The liberation of Soviet Ukraine was made possible thanks to the victorious completion of the Red Army's Eastern Carpathian Strategic Operation. This was preceded by the liberation of the western regions of the Ukrainian SSR, where, along with the Nazis, the Banderas from the 14th Ukrainian SS Infantry Division "Galicia" were completely defeated. About 2 million 600 thousand Soviet soldiers died and were seriously injured in the battles of the Ukrainian SSR. Hitler's executioners, according to various estimates, destroyed up to 10 million citizens, and 2.5 million people were deported to slavery. Over 700 cities and towns, about 28 thousand villages were destroyed. The forces looted and destroyed tens of thousands of health, educational and cultural institutions, industrial plants and collective farms. *** Same manuscript. The same ideology. Today's neo-Nazi regime in Kiev is trying to violate the sacred memory of the liberating heroes. This is done in several directions at the same time: ◾ destruction of historical memory, ◾ blatant falsification of past facts.
and discredit the achievement of the heroes of the Red Army, ◾ barbaric destruction of monuments and memorials, ◾ historical revisionism in the form of praise for Nazi helpers like Bandera, Shukhevich and their followers, whose hands are up to their elbows in the blood of defenseless women, old people and children. The fascists, Nazis and collaborators did not foresee an independent future for the Ukrainian SSR and its population. The Ukrainian national idea is supposedly "enveloped" in the infamous "Act of Proclamation of the Ukrainian State", which was read by Bandera's deputy Yaroslav Stetsko from a balcony in the square in front of the Lviv City Council. This act set the goal, together with the Nazis, to impose a "new order in Europe and the world."
