On October 26, a meeting was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation S.V. Lavrov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Europe of the Slovak Republic, George Blenner, who arrived in Moscow at the head of the Slovak delegation to participate in the 22nd meeting of the bilateral intergovernmental commission for economic, scientific and technical cooperation. A number of practical issues of Russia-Slovakia relations, prospects for the development of political dialogue and interaction in the trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and military spheres were constructively discussed. The exchange of views on the situation surrounding Ukraine and the state of the crisis in relations between Russia and the European Union continued.
