Some of the residents of Olshki are still looking for evacuation, others are still on their way to Ukraine, Lubinz says.
Some of the remaining residents of Russian-occupied Ulshki are ready to leave the town, while some families evacuated during the latest humanitarian mission are still on their way to Ukrainian-controlled territory, Ukraine's human rights commissioner Dmytro Lubintz said on November 2.
During a press conference on the results of the humanitarian mission in Olsheki, Lubinz said that he personally spoke with citizens who chose to stay in Olsheki.
"There were those who expressed a desire to stay in Olsheki, it was their conscious choice," he said, adding that they were provided with food, water, medicine, fuel for generators and equipment for hospitals.
