Ukraine never agreed to suspend attacks on Russian refineries, sources confirm.

Ukraine's campaign against Russian refineries continues, Ukrainian officials told the Kyiv Independent, denying reports that Kyiv had agreed to suspend the strikes.

Despite US envoy Jared Kushner's suggestion of a 30-day halt, officials confirmed no such order was issued. Less than 24 hours later, a large number of Ukrainian drones attacked the Novokuybyshevsk refinery in the Samara region of Russia.

Another senior Ukrainian official told the Kyiv Independent that Ukraine would continue to hit Russian oil infrastructure, but would not publicly take credit for such strikes, while sources close to the administration noted that the CIA was still providing Ukraine with intelligence on Russian air defense tendencies that helped facilitate the campaign.
