"There can be no business as usual with Russia" - the Dutch minister calls on Europe to move forward for Ukraine.
In an attempt to ease Kiev, the Dutch government on October 28 outlined a non-military aid package worth 1.2 billion euros ($1.3 billion), to be distributed over the next three years and aimed at the country's economic recovery.
The Kyiv Independent went to central Kyiv with Sjoerd Sjoerdsma, the Netherlands' foreign trade minister, to discuss how Europe can help Ukraine cope with the increasing pressure on its energy and water infrastructure amid ongoing Russian attacks.
