Analysis: Not Elon Musk, Russian soldiers in Ukraine are not 'children' who have no choice but to fight and die'.
"We should have some sympathy for the poor Russian conscripts as well. These children have no choice but to fight and die in drone attacks."
For anyone who watches and understands Ukraine's years-long struggle for survival, the words of SpaceX founder and the world's richest man Elon Musk ring a deep moral bankruptcy.
But more importantly, Musk's Oct. 25 post — made in the middle of a hurricane scandal surrounding the throttling of Musk's Internet terminals used by Starlink's Ukrainian military — poorly portrays the reality of how Russia staffs its wartime military.
