Exclusive: Ukraine fears Trump could give Russia long-term relief for the fertilizer industry.

US President Donald Trump may consider further easing sanctions on Russia following his latest diesel deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin, several Ukrainian and US officials familiar with the matter told the Kyiv Independent.

Now, Ukrainian officials fear Washington could pursue a deal involving Russia's fertilizer industry — a move Kiev warns would offer Moscow economic concessions without guaranteeing a ceasefire.
