Russia sentences a 77-year-old Crimean activist to 18 years for an alleged plot to kill Moscow's plenipotentiary.
"Volodymyr Ananiev is the oldest political prisoner in Crimea. He suffers from vision problems and problems with his spine, muscles, kidneys and legs, and walks with a walking stick," the Crimean Tatar Resource Center said.
