Ukraine's ground drone army, he explained

The Kyiv Independent's Francis Farrell joins Ukraine's 93rd Mechanized Division's Alter Ego Battalion to see how soldiers are developing and deploying unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) in the war against Russia.

The robots, built and modified in the front-line workshops, deliver supplies, evacuate wounded soldiers, conduct reconnaissance and carry out combat missions.

The report follows Alter Ego's engineers and operators as they grapple with the risks of a robotic evacuation and prepare a robotic counterattack against Russian troops in the Donetsk region.
