Among the ruins of a Ukrainian apartment building, locals have one wish for Putin's birthday

A Russian cruise missile struck a five-story apartment building in Pryluky, Chernihiv Oblast, on October 7, killing at least 20 people, including five children - three of whom were just one year old. It was part of a massive Russian attack on cities across Ukraine.

The strike came on the 74th birthday of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

When asked what they would wish for Putin on his birthday, the residents did not hold back. "I hope he dies soon," said 75-year-old Volodymyr Ivashchenko.
