"We are ready to fight" - how a pipeline designed to prepare Kyiv for Russian attacks pitted Ukrainians against their city council
In one of Kyiv's worst-hit districts, a heating pipe designed to help residents weather Russian attacks this winter has pitted them against their city's government.
While the project aims to provide backup heating to more than 200 buildings, protests against the destruction of a forest strip have escalated following violent clashes with municipal security guards and the arrest of a wounded army soldier.
