Explosions were heard in Kiev against the background of a large-scale Russian missile attack.
Explosions were heard in Kyiv at 3:15 a.m. local time, according to a Kyiv Independent journalist on the ground, as Moscow launched its latest mass missile and drone attack on the capital, coinciding with Russian President Vladimir Putin's 74th birthday.
"The missiles fall one after another. At least 10-12 explosions from what I can count. It's quite noisy in the center of the city,” described the Kyiv Independent's Tim Zdorozhny.
