All EU sanctions linked to Russia's war may expire as France and Slovakia seek to delist oligarchs

All 3,000 EU sanctions against people helping Russia's war effort could be lifted overnight if Brussels, Paris and Azerbaijan fail to find a compromise by September 21, EU diplomats told the Kyiv Independent.

The European Union is due to renew sanctions against people linked to Russia on September 21. The package constitutes about half of the total sanctions of the European Union.
