As Russia targets Ukraine's economy, keeping businesses alive takes priority
As Russian attacks on Ukraine's businesses intensify, the government's push to attract investment to Ukraine's war economy faces a more immediate challenge: keeping businesses alive at all.
"When the attacks started, we realized that the challenge is more than increasing investments. It's also about maintaining supply chains and businesses, such as pharmacies, food and retail products that are needed to survive," Deputy Economy Minister Yegor Perligin told the Kyiv Independent.
