Canada is in negotiations to join an EU loan to Ukraine, but it still needs to contribute to Kyiv, Brussels says.

Even if Canada helps the European Union with its loan to Ukraine, it should still follow Norway's lead and provide direct financial support to Ukraine, European Commission spokesman Balazs Ujvari said.
