Russia has suffered more than 300,000 military casualties in Ukraine since the beginning of 2026, the General Staff says.

The General Staff said the nearly 300,000 casualties were roughly equivalent to the manpower strength of 150 motorized rifle battalions, based on an estimate of 2,000 soldiers per battalion.
