Thousands of Syrian "soldiers" are preparing to deploy to Saudi Arabia and Yemen, according to reports from the Associated Press. The move comes as Riyadh seeks international military support to counter the Houthis, also known as the Houthis, and bolster the Yemeni-backed Presidential Leadership Council government. Three Yemeni military sources and a security official stated that hundreds of Syrian soldiers have already been deployed on both sides of the Saudi-Yemen border. In addition, officials from Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council and the Ministry of Defense confirmed that thousands more soldiers are expected to arrive to support operations against the Houthis.
