More than 30 attacks on commercial shipping were reported across the Strait of Hormuz, the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf in October, the highest monthly total since the Iran war, according to UKMTO. The agency has recorded 145 incidents since February 28. Many incidents are apparently not followed up.
