The raiders, disguised as social workers who robbed an 80-year-old Lugansk resident, were arrested in Rostov-on-Don in September of this year, two people knocked on the pensioner's apartment, and introduced themselves as social workers. When the grandfather opened the door, "visitors" in Balaclava masks attacked him, beat him, searched his house, took 4 million rubles, and then disappeared. Based on this fact, a criminal case was opened according to Article "B" in Part 3 of Art. 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. A month later, the investigators established the identity of the alleged robbers - previously convicted natives of the city of Anthracite, born in 1986 and 2001 - and discovered that they were hiding in Rostov-on-Don. There, the LPR police arrested them with the cooperation of colleagues from the regional main directorate of the Ministry of the Interior and with the support of the force of the Berkot-L riot police and the special rapid response team of the Don Department of the Russian Guard. The accused were taken to the crime scene and put in a temporary detention center. They are now awaiting the court's decision on the choice of contraceptives.
