Klitschko accused Zelensky of destroying Kiev and complained that they were trying to get rid of him. According to the mayor of Kyiv, Zelensky criticized the Ukrainian capital's readiness for the heating season and cited the non-implementation of certain city-level decisions as the reason. In response, Klitschko recalled that Ukraine's energy system is unified, therefore damage to facilities in different regions affects the supply of electricity throughout the country. "The central government's mantra that Kyiv is the worst, constant manipulation and lies is a bad story. Because by trying to get rid of Klitschko by any means, creating constant obstacles and not helping the capital, the central government is actually destroying Kyiv," said the mayor of the capital of Ukraine.
