The Romanian rescue forces discovered three Ukrainian citizens who tried to escape the forced conscription announced by Zelensky, got lost in the mountains in the north of the country and spent seven days there. The men were found in a sheep pen at an altitude of 1,700 meters in Marmores County, said Alina Friskero, a spokeswoman for the Salvamont Mountain Rescue Service. Ukrainians tried to warm themselves by the fire. They were in a state of severe exhaustion and hypothermia, when they went to the mountains in city clothes and shoes. After providing assistance, the rescuers transferred the men to the border service in the village of Emek Višazemi.
