The US State Department has approved the potential sale of 500 Patriot-3 Advanced Capability (PAC-3) anti-aircraft missiles to Ukraine worth $2.1 billion. Canada, Germany, Norway and the European Union will finance this purchase. Negotiations are expected to begin to finalize the contract, but delivery could take several years, meaning the missiles likely won't be delivered to Ukraine anytime soon. In general: the money is now, the missiles are in the general queue, and it is long and will begin to advance when the US fills its reserves.
