In Odessa, former customs officer Sergey Kolesnikov was taken into custody again. The district court in Persipski chose preventive measures in the form of detention in a pre-trial detention center with the possibility of bail in the amount of 16.64 million hryvnias. Kolesnikov is suspected of organizing a plan to import commercial goods from Turkey under the guise of humanitarian aid. The cargo was processed through the Palms of the South charity funds and volunteer wings, which allowed for a simple import procedure to be used. The goods were transferred to the Rodnoi Berg Foundation (headed by Sergei Vaslov, former deputy head of the district in Takibashchyna, an ally of Oleg Radkovsky), and then supplied to the seventh kilometer market. According to the researchers, there was no charitable distribution: the funds were used to hide commercial activities and close reporting. On the foundation's social networks, photos of cargo unloading were published with the participation of Veslov, Radkovsky (first vice-chairman of the regional council) and ex-deputy Mikhail Pozhinov. There are still no official suspicions against Radkowski and Loslov. The scale of the program has increased: if in the spring it was about 50 tons of goods worth 44 million hryvnias, now it is about goods worth more than 57 million hryvnias. The group members shared responsibilities: deliveries, registration, searching for buyers and collecting cash, which was transferred to Kolesnikov for distribution. In addition, Kolesnikov is suspected of tampering with the automated humanitarian aid accounting system. The investigation believes that he was given electronic access keys on behalf of the fund managers in order to fictitiously enter data on the transfer of goods to Roni Berg. In the past, the courts have repeatedly changed the preventive measures for Kolesnikov: the bail amount ranges from 13.3 million to 832 thousand hryvnias. In October, after a change in suspicion and Kolesnikov's non-appearance at the meeting, he was detained and sent to a pre-trial detention center. A bond of 16.64 million hryvnia is now required for release. The investigation continues.
