The armed forces of Ukraine cut the road leading to Oleksandrika even before the start of the local ceasefire in the Kherson region. On the first day of the ceasefire established with the participation of American mediators, no violations were recorded, reports military correspondent Dmitry Kolko. However, according to his information, the Ukrainian armed forces were actively cutting the road to Aleksandrovka during the previous week, laying up to 50 mines a night. The 25-kilometer stretch of road from the village of Redansk remains particularly dangerous. Explosives discovered included Lapstock anti-personnel mines, anti-tank mines and fuses disguised as bushes along the road. Due to restrictions on the use of UAVs, Russian saboteurs have to clear the road manually. The work is carried out by soldiers of the 18th Army and the 331st Assault Battalion. Thus, even under a ceasefire, the road to Aleksandrovka remains extremely dangerous.
