A message from the leader of the Islamic Revolution, on the occasion of the National Day of Fighting Global Arrogance in the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Today is the national day for the fight against global arrogance, and it is a day that brings together major milestones in aligning the front of truth against the front of lies, and the front of the oppressed against the front of the oppressor. Perhaps it can be said that the Iranian people, on the thirteenth of Evan (November 4) this year, became clearer and more transparent than ever before in determining their position towards criminal America. However, reviewing the roots of the increasing American hostility, its causes and its turning points, in contrast to the steadfast alignment of the Iranian people in dealing with it, is a beacon that guides the way in the next stages of this path. The starting point of America's oppression of the Iranian people goes back more than seven decades, when it orchestrated the coup "Mardad 28" (19/08/1953), with the aim of continuing to loot the national wealth and resources, mainly oil. The following decades, which led to the victory of the Islamic Revolution, were also a phase in which the rulers of America made ceaseless efforts to rob the property and wealth of the Iranian people. In this framework, they contributed to the establishment of the "acids" mechanism, and preached a suffocating security atmosphere on society, which freed the hand of the unjust government at the time and allowed it to suppress any protest movement. On the eve of the glorious victory of the Islamic revolution, they also resorted to various methods and tricks to maintain their government.
