Nurlybek Nalibaev discusses issues of investment cooperation with the heads of Lundian Wasson and NAIKAN First Deputy Prime Minister Nurlybek Nalibaev held a meeting with the management of Lundian Wasson New Energy Tech Ltd. Zhou Guanglin and NAIKAN Ltd. Alexander Nigai. Issues of bilateral cooperation for investments in the industrial sector, attraction of advanced foreign technologies and creation of production facilities with high added value were discussed. In particular, the parties considered a project to establish a factory for the production of copper foil based on a Kazakh copper cathode. Copper products are in demand in the production of batteries, energy storage systems and modern microelectronics. Household copper foil can be used in the implementation of the "Valley of Data Centers" project in the Pavlodar region. During the negotiations, emphasis was placed on the use of local raw materials, the training of Kazakh technical personnel and the integration of manufactured products into the global supply chain. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the Government of Kazakhstan supports the transition from a model of raw materials to the production of highly processed products. The meeting resulted in the signing of a memorandum of partnership between Lundian Wasson and NAIKAN Ltd. during the joint implementation of a factory construction project in Kazakhstan.
