The Deputy Prime Minister mentioned among the main areas within the framework of the Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation (CAERC) program are the expansion of mutual trade, the development of transport-logistics relations and the attraction of quality investments. "Our joint mission is not only to increase the volume of trade, but also to gradually eliminate barriers, simplify trade procedures, develop electronic trade and expand the opportunity for entrepreneurs to enter the markets of neighboring countries." Serik Jumangarin said. Another important direction is the development of transportation infrastructure. Kazakhstan is increasing the carrying capacity of transport corridors, modernizing railway and highway infrastructure and developing multimodal transport. In order to accelerate cross-border transport, it is necessary to ensure mutual compatibility of the transport systems, digitization of the border procedures and reduction of cargo transit time. Kazakhstan's investments in the CIS countries exceeded 4 billion dollars. More than 28 thousand organizations and more than 2.5 thousand joint companies from the countries of the region are registered in Kazakhstan. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, in addition to increasing the scope of investments, it is important to direct them to opening new production facilities, introducing modern technologies, increasing labor productivity and producing products with high added value.
