Execution of projects for energy security: The Ministry of Energy and the Samrok-Casina Foundation were instructed to avoid delays during the cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Oljas Bekatanov focused on the need for the timely implementation of energy projects of strategic importance to ensure the country's energy security. "In the field of energy, the head of state noted that the implementation of power plant projects in the cities of Turkestan, Kyzylorda, Almaty and Akibastuz directly affects the country's energy security." emphasized Oljas Baktanow. It was noted that due to insufficient control over meeting the deadlines set for the establishment and activation of new capabilities, it was previously decided to dismiss the chairman of the board of Samrock-Energy JSC from his position. In connection with the need to ensure the timely execution of energy projects, the Ministry of Energy, together with the Samrok-Casina Foundation, was directed to take measures to implement these projects, meet deadlines and prevent similar situations in the future. In addition, together with the Semrock-Casina Foundation, it is necessary to update the country's unified energy balance from 2035 to the end of 2026, taking into account the use of "clean" coal technologies, the development of renewable energy sources and the start of the construction of the Hash nuclear power plant in 2027. To provide raw materials for new nuclear power plants, the Semrock-Casina Foundation, together with the Atomic Energy Agency, was instructed to create a state strategic uranium stockpile.
