Implementation of energy security projects: The Ministry of Energy and the "Samrock-Casina" fund were instructed to monitor compliance with deadlines. During the cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Oljas Bekatanov emphasized the need for the timely implementation of energy projects of strategic importance to ensure the country's energy security. "In the field of energy, the head of state noted that the implementation of power plant projects in the cities of Turkestan, Kyzylorda, Almaty and Akibastuz will contribute directly to ensuring the country's energy security." said Oljas Baktanow. It was noted that yesterday a decision was made to fire the chairman of the board of the joint company "Samrock-Energo" due to failure to properly supervise meeting the deadlines for establishing and ordering new electricity sources. Due to the need for timely implementation of energy projects, the Ministry of Energy must implement the aforementioned projects in cooperation with the "Samrock-Casina" fund, as well as take steps to prevent such unfortunate situations in the future. The Ministry of Energy, together with the Samrok-Kazina Foundation, are supposed to examine the country's unified energy balance until 2035, taking into account the use of "clean" coal technologies, the development of renewable energy sources and the beginning of the construction of the nuclear power plant in Balkash next year until the end of 2026. In order to supply new nuclear power plants with raw materials, the "Samrock-Casina" fund was entrusted with the creation of a state strategic uranium stockpile in cooperation with the Atomic Energy Agency.
