In this regard, in 2027 it is necessary to complete the construction and modernization of all vehicle barriers, to launch the railway line in Akhty-Iagoz, and with the beginning of the construction season, to begin the expansion of the Kukstau-Petroplovsk highway and the construction of a second airport in Astana. To increase international cargo transportation, we were ordered to develop additional measures for government support for local carriers. The Ministry of Transportation should strengthen the development of the service infrastructure, including the establishment of centers for the consolidation and distribution of cargo. The implementation of these projects and the introduction of digital solutions in the industry should be under the special control of the department. Separately, Oljas Baktanow focused on the quality of road construction. The President appointed the Ministry of Transportation responsible for the execution of all road projects and the condition of the roads. The Ministry of Transportation must take special control over the condition, construction and repair of the local road network.
