Implementation of the message of 2026: the production of agricultural machinery will be developed in Kazakhstan and a system will be created for the management of reserves of especially important metals. At the cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Oljas Bekatnov gave a number of tasks to develop the production of domestic agricultural machinery, modernize the geological exploration and mining and the metallurgical industry, as well as increase the efficiency of mineral resource management. As part of the technological modernization of the agro-industrial complex, the ministries of industry and agriculture were instructed to make concrete proposals to increase the production of agricultural machinery within a month.
Special attention was given to the modernization of the underground exploitation system and to meet the growing needs of the economy in relation to the most important metals. Also, until December 15th, in cooperation with the business community, it is necessary to develop specific measures for the further development of the mining and metallurgy industry, including the use of a mechanism for creating pull contracts that guarantee a guaranteed demand for products. Also, the Ministry of Industry together with the regional ACMs must take steps to implement the legislative norms accepted so far and develop coordinated decisions on the development of the regional cluster.
