At the government meeting, Prime Minister Oljas Bekatanov drew attention to the preparation for the implementation of the "People's Construction" program, during which it is necessary to coordinate the work of the central and local executive agencies. "The head of state proposed to declare next year as the year of large-scale national construction. The "Building of People" program will be the largest infrastructure project in the country's history. Therefore, the results of its implementation will depend on the harmonious work of the government and the ACM." Oljas Baktanow noted. The Ministries of Industry and Construction, Transportation, Energy, Health and Education, together with the ACM, were instructed to analyze by the end of 2026 the regions' needs for infrastructure and social facilities and create a list of specific projects. "By the end of the year, the region's need for infrastructure and social facilities must be analyzed and a list of specific projects created. This applies to local roads, housing and service networks, as well as educational, cultural and medical institutions. Oljas Baktanow noted. The Prime Minister also noted that the President ordered the supply of materials and household equipment for construction works. The Ministry of Industry and Construction must take steps for extensive participation of local manufacturers in the execution of all projects in cooperation with the state bodies of the sector.
